Pediatric Cardiology Residency Program
During the three year Pediatric Cardiology Residency Program, the trainee will learn to evaluate children of all ages with both congenital and acquired heart disease.
The trainee will gain experience in general pediatric cardiology, as well as the various subspecialty areas including:
- echocardiography
- cardiac catheterization
- electrophysiology
- cardiac intensive care
- heart failure transplantation
- cardiac morphology
Language Requirements
English Language Proficiency: As a requirement for licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), applicants must have taken one of the following English tests in Canada in the last 24 months: IELTS (and achieved minimum scores of 7.0 in each component), or TOEFL IBT (and achieved minimum scores of 24 in each component)
